Since 2010, måg has been driven by a passionate team of editors, artists, curators and contributors working together virtually, collaboratively, and across borders. This has always been the ethos of måg and the reason behind thesuccess of the title since its inception.
To further improve the quality of the publication and its delivery method, måg will take a break for the next 12 months for technical development and a complete redesign. We want to use this time to explore the way in which the magazine can continue to be published online and to improve our overall accessibility, whilst at the same time unearthing new talents within contemporary visual art.
måg has presented artists including Bodil Furu, Gunilla Klingberg, Susan Hiller, Craig Mulholland, Sarah Tripp, Ilana Halperin, Georgia Sagri, Gregos Theopsy, Jannis Varelas, Yorgos Stamkopoulos, Rune Olsen, Jumana Manna, Camilla Løw, Harold Offeh, Stefan Schröder, Dylan Miner, Gwendoline Robin, Knut Henrik Henriksen, Toril Johannessen, Marte Eknœs, Svein Flygari Johansen and many more. The list of contributors to måg magazine is immense in itself and it has been terrific to have had the opportunity of working with these individuals.
The next stage of our journey begins now and we look forward to sharing our vision with you in the future. In the meantime, you can enjoy måg magazine’s past issues here:
